Cheating Lessons: Learning From Academic Dishonesty, by James M. Lang | ****| I appreciated Lang's insistence that before we can think seriously about how to stop cheating, we must first think (very hard) about why cheating happens in the first place. This involves educators being willing to consider the flawed incentive structures that exist in a great many classrooms. The book is well-researched, meticulously argued, and offers very practical advice on alternative ways to structure assessments and handle academic integrity issues.
