Liar in a Crowded Theater | **** | This book will only appeal to the wonkiest of free-speech obsessives, but I am among that crowd, to be sure. It's structured well: starting from a deep dive into the fundamental philosophical, ethical, and legal implications of free speech, Kossoff takes a trip through relevant case law history before diving into the secondary and tertiary pitfalls of attempts to regulate speech, and finally landing at a discussion of the methods and processes that currently exist to combat false or malicious speech. Well worth the read if it's your sort of thing.
