I'm a bit off last year's pace, but I tend to bulk-read over school breaks, so I anticipate catching up over the next two weeks and wrapping up the three books I'm currently in the middle of. But here are the last two librarian reads:
15: I'm re-reading the CS Lewis space trilogy, and the first book is as excellent as I remember from my youth. Lewis has a unique gift for embedding deep concepts seamlessly in a compelling tale, and although he writes in a uniquely mid-century British manner, the storyline definitely holds up.

15: I decided in light of world events since 10/7/2023 to work my way thru the entire Gabriel Allon series from Daniel Silva, and have yet to be disappointed. Each novel is compelling as a stand-alone piece of intrigue and spycraft, undergirded by Silva's (admittedly motivated) take on the historic development of Israeli / Palestinian relations.
